In September of 2005, Mike and I set out on a cross country marketing trip to promote and introduce Adventures Around The World to travel agents and consumers across the country. It was a complete success and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our friends, family, and new business contacts we met along the way.
With our mobile office and our bikes and gear loaded into the back of Mike’s truck, we left Seattle on September 12th, 2005 and started our journey. Our first stop was World Class Travel in Seattle with Debby and Ron. They were great and it really started our trip out on the right path.
From there we covered 9, 286 miles as we zig-zagged across the country and ended up in Adamant VT on October 29th, 2005
48 Days on the road
1 Hotel in Portland Oregon (We needed to plug our printer in)
1 Hostel just North of Santa Cruz, a really cool lighthouse hostel on the ocean.
10 days of camping
And 36 days of premier couch surfing.
We distributed 200+ handouts with our company information and trip details and over 3,000 brochures were placed in Travel Agents and Gear and outdoor stores throughout the country.
