Mountain Fun

Hello everyone,

Welcome back to the Holmquest Brothers Blog. We have been having a great time back in Colorado. Adventures Around the World has moved to a new office to provide space for our growing number of support staff. Our new location allows us to keep up with the pace of work and number of trips that we have been running. Mike has been rafting on th Arkansas River as a guide for fun and he went skydiving again a few days ago. Kevin is enjoying his mountain bike and some of the great local hikes. There is just so much to do around here it is hard to decide what adventure is first on the list. On another business note we are very close to releasing out new website. It has been a long and hard task but when we release it we guarantee that you will be impressed. We'll keep you updated as to a release date. We hope everyone has been enjoying the summer and playing outside as much as possible.

Sunshine and the X-games

With plenty of snow still covering the slopes the sun has been heating up the days to a balmy 40+ degrees. Kevin and I are both working really hard on new trips and projects but we still manage to sneek onto the slopes pretty often. It makes it easy that the new Gondola is just a 2 minute walk away. The other news is that I am headed to the X-games today down in Aspen. Our friend Curtis lives at the bottom of the superpipe and through another great connection we'll be staying in a beautiful Suite at one of the local resorts. I hope we have time to enjoy it after all the events, skiing and socializing that the whole weekend should turn out to be. In more personal news Kevin has been nursing a shoulder injury from the snowboard park, but he seems to be on the mend. I guess you can't land on your head and walk away from it unscathed...go figure. I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the winter weather. I've heard that finally the East Coast has been getting some snow. Enjoy it while it lasts friends, with the crazy weather you have been having it might not last long. I'll give you an update on the X-games when I get back.
